These Terms of Service govern your use of the Seatd platform operated by Z.I Operations UK, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as Seatd by FOREiA ("Seatd", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using Seatd at seatd.co.uk, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.
By creating an account on Seatd, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, that you have the legal right to operate the business you are registering, and that all information you provide is accurate, current and complete.
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Z.I Operations UK. By clicking "Create Account" or otherwise using the platform, you accept these terms in full.
Seatd provides a booking and business management platform for UK-based independent professionals across 12 appointment-based industries. Our services include: a branded booking page at seatd.co.uk/b/yourname, marketplace listing and discovery, automated SMS communications, a business dashboard with bookings, clients, analytics, reviews, services, availability, branding and team management.
Seatd is a technology platform. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality or delivery of the services provided by businesses listed on our platform. All appointments are contracted directly between the professional and their clients. We are not a party to those transactions.
We aim to provide a reliable, high-availability platform. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to Seatd. We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance that results in temporary unavailability. We will provide advance notice of planned maintenance where possible.
New accounts are eligible for a 14-day free trial. During the trial, you have full access to every feature on the platform. A valid payment method is required to start the trial. If you cancel before the end of day 14, your card will not be charged. After day 14, your subscription begins automatically.
Following the free trial, Seatd charges a flat monthly subscription fee of £39.99 per month. This fee is charged in advance on a monthly basis on the same calendar date each month. All fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing your payment details, you authorise us to charge your payment method on the dates and amounts described. You can update your payment method at any time through the billing portal in your dashboard.
We reserve the right to update our subscription pricing. We will provide at least 30 days written notice of any price increase, giving you the opportunity to cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.
Seatd operates a strict zero-commission model. We will never take a percentage of your bookings, services, or revenue. Your monthly subscription of £39.99 is the only fee we charge. This is a permanent, core commitment of Seatd.
Every penny a client pays for a booking goes directly to you. We do not intercept, hold, or process client payments for appointments. Clients pay you directly — in person, via your own payment system, or however you choose to collect payment.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date business information on your Seatd profile, including your services, pricing, availability, working hours and contact details. Inaccurate information that misleads clients is a breach of these terms.
You are responsible for honouring all appointments made through your Seatd booking page. Excessive cancellations or failure to honour bookings may result in account review or suspension.
You must comply with all applicable UK laws in the provision of your services, including any licensing requirements, health and safety regulations, and consumer protection laws relevant to your industry.
You must not use Seatd for any unlawful purpose, to facilitate fraud or deception, to send spam or unsolicited communications, or in any way that violates these terms or applicable law. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate this clause without notice.
By using Seatd's SMS features, you confirm that clients have provided their phone numbers in the context of making a booking, and that you have the right to send them appointment-related SMS communications. You agree to comply with all applicable UK telecommunications regulations including the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
Seatd's automated SMS system sends messages on your behalf using Twilio. The messages we send include: booking confirmations (immediately on booking), 24-hour appointment reminders, 14-day re-engagement messages and post-appointment review requests. All messages identify your business by name.
Clients can opt out of SMS communications by replying STOP to any message. Upon receiving a STOP reply, no further messages will be sent to that number from our platform. You must not attempt to circumvent client opt-out requests.
By listing your business on Seatd, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your business name, description, sector, city, services, logo, cover photo, portfolio images and reviews on the Seatd marketplace and associated SEO pages for the duration of your active subscription.
You retain full ownership of all content you upload to Seatd. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your business content. Upon termination of your account, this licence ends and your content will be removed.
All content you upload to Seatd must be accurate, lawful, and not misleading. We reserve the right to remove listings or content that violates our community standards, applicable law, or these terms. We will notify you of any content removal where possible.
The Seatd platform — including its design, code, algorithms, features, branding, and all platform content — is owned by Z.I Operations UK and FOREiA and protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reverse engineer, reproduce, or distribute any part of our platform without our express written consent.
Your business content — your name, logo, photos, service descriptions and client data — remains entirely your property. We make no claim of ownership over any content you create or upload to the platform.
You may cancel your Seatd subscription at any time from your dashboard under Payments. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current monthly billing period. You will retain access to the platform until the end of the period for which you have paid.
Upon cancellation, your booking page will be deactivated and your business will be removed from the Seatd marketplace. Your account data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation, during which time you can contact us to export any data you require. After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or cause harm to clients or other users of the platform. In serious cases, termination may occur without prior notice. We will refund any unused portion of a prepaid subscription in cases of termination by us without cause.
Seatd provides its platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Z.I Operations UK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Seatd platform. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these terms or the platform shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the three months immediately preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Z.I Operations UK, FOREiA, and their respective directors, employees and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
The clients who book through your Seatd booking page are your clients — not ours. Their contact details and booking history belong to you. We do not use your client relationships for our own marketing or commercial purposes.
As the business owner, you are a data controller in respect of your client data. You are responsible for ensuring that your collection and use of client data complies with UK GDPR and applicable data protection law. Seatd acts as a data processor on your behalf for the purposes of operating the platform.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for the resolution of any disputes arising from or related to these terms or the Seatd platform.
Before initiating any legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at management@foreiagroup.com to resolve any dispute informally. We will make every effort to resolve issues fairly and promptly.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. For significant changes — particularly those that affect your rights or the core terms of the service — we will provide at least 30 days written notice by email before the changes take effect. For minor clarifications, we may update the policy with immediate effect.
Your continued use of Seatd after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
